Reports have been heating up the net for the past few weeks regarding this rumor. And now, it's almost confirmed.

One of our hidden treasures, actress Willa Holland is set to join the cast of CWs hit show -- "Gossip Girl."

With no source to back up the rumor, the information making the rounds has been far from reliable. Until now.

"EW.com/Hollywood Insider" are reporting the 17-year-old former O.C actress is in negotiations to join the cast -- and they even dish on her character:

They report:

"Holland, who played Marissa Cooper's devilish little sis, Kaitlin, on "The O.C.", is in negotiations to join The CW's 'Gossip Girl' for a three-episode arc, according to a GG source. Holland would play Agnes, a young model for Eleanor Waldorf who befriends Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen) but also tries to tempt her over to the dark side (think threesomes and stripteases)."

Willa and Gossip Girl/O.C creator Josh Schwartz have yet to confirm.

Pretty please, can this be true?

When Josh was finishing off the final season four of The O.C, he made it clear in almost every interview he adored Willa and her portrayal of Marissa's not so girl next door sis. So the rumors add up. Whether it's going to happen or not ......

Us? We'd have Willa on pronto!

Willa didn't tap into full bitch mode for The O.C, but we know she can - as she's stated in interviews before. Josh -- get on it!!

Gossip Girl (which debuted it's second season premiere last night) saw less than stellar ratings in it's first season run, despite being one of the most hyped television shows of 2008. But it would now seem the majority are finally catching on to it's awesomeness. GG pulled in 3.3 million viewers last night, and was up 6% from its premiere last year in the adult demo (and up 10% among the network’s key 18-34 demographic).

Better late than never. The S2 premiere was everything we hoped and more -- loved every second of it.
