Check out this outrageously slick teaser for Walt Disney's upcoming Tron Legacy ― sequel to the 1982 classic, Tron.

The above footage premiered at the 2009 San Diego Comic Con on Friday (July 24) and can now be viewed online in glorious HD format. Like the first, known for its groundbreaking special effects at its time, this Joseph Kosinski directed take will no doubt shake the ground with its spectacular and mind-blowing 3D high-tech delivery.

“Tron Legacy is a 3D adventure set in a digital world that’s unlike anything ever captured on the big screen. Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin’s loyal confidant (Olivia Wilde), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.”

Also starring Karl Urban and John Hurt, Tron Legacy will impact theaters in 2010!
